Lagos - The All Progressives Congress (APC) has raised fresh alarm over plans by the Peoples Democratic Party to use the courts to postpone or scuttle the February general elections,
The party said the fresh plot is to ensure that the party's presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, is disqualified.from the race.
The party made the reaction in response to the suit filed by a lawyer seeking for the disqualification of Buhari.
Lai Mohammed, APC’s National Publicity Secretary, in statement issued in Lagos, stated that after all the efforts to stop Buhari failed, the PDP has moved on to the next chapter, which is to use the courts to stop the elections at all cost.
He urged the judiciary not to become a willing tool in the hands of those who will stop at nothing to scuttle the elections.
